I’m Som, a communications consultant who helps leaders and organisations speak so people want to listen. Over the past seven years, I’ve worked across industries, cultures, and time zones, translating complex strategies, policies, and transformations into words people can trust, understand, and act on.

My approach is rooted in a strong background in People & Culture and human behaviour. With four years of experience in HR before specialising in internal communications, I’ve worked across recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and HR policy design. That early career chapter means I don’t just write for employees, I understand what it’s like to design, deliver, and embed the initiatives they’re hearing about. It’s given me a sharper sense of timing, tone, and the realities leaders face when trying to bring change to life.

I show up to my work with equal parts strategy and empathy. That means listening first, so the message meets people where they are. It means balancing precision with humanity, so leadership feels approachable, and big organisational shifts don’t lose sight of the people living through them. My work has supported everything from M&A transitions to technology rollouts, wellbeing and inclusion campaigns, and leadership storytelling for audiences of thousands.
